Members of the Scleroderma Foundation's national office were in Washington, D.C. last week for the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). More than 18,000 rheumatologists, clinical researchers and other professionals from around the world were at the meeting.  The Foundation experienced the largest number of visitors to its booth in its history of exhibiting at ACR.

During the event, the Foundation launched the fourth edition of the "Scleroderma Spectrum," a clinical newsletter for medical professionals. The Foundation also announced its upcoming Continuing Medical Education program (CME) for physicians and nurses.

ACR is an important venue for the Foundation to strengthen relationships with physicians, current and potential funding partners, patient/membership organizations and others.

An in-depth article on current research results, findings, and advances reported at the meeting, be sure to tune in to our Spring edition of the “Scleroderma Voice”.  If you would like to receive this quarterly magazine, we welcome you to become a member of the Foundation.
