Save the Date: Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 is Congressional Call-In Day

Let Your Voice Be Heard!

congressional call in day 2012You may have just voted in the national elections the week before, but the scleroderma community still needs to let its voice be heard.  On Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Scleroderma Foundation is organizing a “Congressional Call-In Day” to urge U.S. Senators and Representatives to support the “Scleroderma Research and Awareness Act” (S.649 in the Senate; H.R. 1672 in the House of Representatives).

We have a narrow window of opportunity in the “lame duck Congress” that comes back after the election to push this important scleroderma legislation forward!  The more co-sponsors we can get for our bill, the more likely it will be acted upon.  Save the date, and plan to join thousands of other members of the scleroderma community Nov. 14 in asking their elected officials to support the “Scleroderma Research and Awareness Act.”
