The Lord is in control...living with Scleroderma I'm doing pretty well at this time. I was diagnosed w/ Raynaud's in Feb 2009 and Scleroderma in May 2010. I'm doing pretty well at this time. I was diagnosed w/ Raynaud's in Feb 2009 and Scleroderma in May 2010. My main medication, CellCept seems to be keeping me stable. God has blessed me with these diseases, Systemic Sclerosis and Raynaud's which my main concerns are even though I deal with other health issues. I am 56 years old and live with my husband and our 3 pups. I owned my own business, Bear Necessities 'not just bears' A Shop of Quality Handmade Gifts, and worked part time at Twilight Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization that makes wishes come true for senior citizens. I had to close up my business in Dec 2010 and quit work in Jan 2011. This disease has made me have to make life style change, eating habits had to change, activities had to come to a holt until I could get back close to how I use to live my life. Even though I'm doing pretty well right now, I still have to be careful in what I do and how much I do something. Pace myself. The Lord has my future all planned out and I know He will not give more then I can handle. I take one day at a time, I thank the Lord for each day and know the He is always with me. God has also blessed me with at wonderful caregiver, my husband, Alan. Believe and stay strong, Desiree |
