When I was diagnosed with scleroderma in February of 2004, I was certain that I'd never play guitar again so I sold or gave away my guitars and amplifiers. But the old adage "Never say never" proved to be true in this instance. After a couple of years of adapting and relearning how to do the simplest things, I was ready to take on the guitar challenge. I found a guitar on ebay, purchased some slide guitar method lessons and within a couple of weeks I was playing along to my favourite tunes. Who knew?
