Scleroderma - My Journey

"It's been a long 11 years but all I can do is take each as it comes, then just go along with my life."

I was diagnosed with Sclerodema and Raynauds Phenomenon eleven years ago. I have had a rough road and it's getting worse. My last surgery was Carpel Tunnel (the worst case my orthepeadic surgeon had seen). It's been 3 months and I still hurt. When I have full use of my hand, he will do my other hand. This is the worst winter yet as I am in the south and we usually have mild winters but this year was horrible.

I have had every thing the disease has to offer plus more. I have been bleeding internally for seven years, have had osteronecrosis and had to have most of my teeth removes because of infections. I have had all symptoms except kidney problems.

It's been a long 11 years but all I can do is take each as it comes, then just go along with my life. I hope sometimes there wii be more help and research for this disease that will help beginners and possibly stop the disease.

Thanks for caring and trying to understand how we take it.

Thank you!
