Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month
November is Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) brings back their award-winning interactive PH Awareness Month calendar, which goes live October 31. Each day reveals an activity, fact, or resource about pulmonary hypertension and provides tools you can use to spark awareness.
We encourage you to share resources and stories with your friends, family, media, elected officials, and the public so they can learn about PH risk factors, symptoms, and diagnosis.

National Family Caregivers Month
November is also National Family Caregivers Month, organized by the Caregiver Action Network.
The 2021 theme, #CaregiverAnd, encourages you, the family caregiver, to celebrate the identities and passions that enrich your life. Far too often your role as a family caregiver overshadows your identity and emphasizes the care you provide for your loved one. Being a family caregiver is incredibly important, but it is critical not to lose sight of who you are. Your sense of self makes your life complete. This is an essential component of self-care that can ultimately prevent caregiver burnout and depression. #CaregiverAnd shifts that focus by highlighting the other roles, activities, and passions that make up your life.
