Haiku Contest is Now Open! Win a Free Youth T-Shirt!
The Youth Program will be offered again this year as part of the National
Patient Education Conference! It is an exceptional program for children
and teen patients, siblings of patients, sons/daughters of scleroderma
patients, and other young people who are affected by the disease.
In preparation for the conference, we are excited to launch our first ever
Haiku contest! Haiku is a form of poetry, first made popular in Japan,
which has become appreciated around the world. Haiku poets are challenged to convey
a vivid message in only 17 syllables. Here are the details:
Create a scleroderma themed haiku. You must use exactly 17
syllables. Syllables must be arranged in three lines of 5-7-5
Submit your haiku through one of our social media channels using the
#unmaskthecure
The contest is now live! Entries are open to everyone under the age of 18 and will begin on Monday,
June 27. A big thank you goes out to Diane Weber Design for creating our
cool t-shirt design.
Good Luck!
