Haiku Contest Details...Win a Free Youth T-Shirt!
The Kids and Teens
Program will be offered again this year as part of the National Patient
Education Conference! It is an exceptional program for children and teen
patients, siblings of patients, sons/daughters of scleroderma patients, and
other young people who are affected by the disease.
In preparation for the conference, we are excited to launch our first ever Haiku contest! Haiku is a form of poetry, first made popular in Japan, which has become appreciated
around the world. Haiku poets are challenged to convey a vivid message in only 17
syllables. Here are the details:
Create a scleroderma themed haiku. You must use exactly 17 syllables. Syllables must be arranged in three lines of 5-7-5
Submit your haiku through one of our social media channels using the #unmaskthecure
Contest is open to everyone under the age of 18 and will begin on Monday, June 27. A big thank you goes out to Diane Weber Design for creating our cool t-shirt design.
Good Luck!
